Tempest Productions presents The Great American Broadcast as part of First Night State College
The date is December 9, 1944. The studio of WTMP, a 5000 watt local radio station is on “location” traveling from sea to shining sea and broadcasting from the hometowns of our gallant soldiers. On this day, they will be traveling to State College, PA and broadcasting their Christmas cheer to those valiant men and women overseas. Comedy, Drama, Suspense and Music abound. Salute with us now, Radioman Jack Cooper and all the other men who have served our country and are still serving. Salute with us all of our heroes and remember that victory begins at home – buy war bonds!
