Sunday June 16 at 11:30 a.m. is your opportunity to learn more about the case of Subu Vedam, a State College man wrongfully convicted of murder in 1982 and sentenced to life without parole. Nationwide, cases like Subu's are being reopened based on newly revealed exculpatory evidence. This information session will explain how our local justice system can address historic injustices and insure Subu's right to a hearing to determine if he is entitled to a new trial. On Monday July 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte, a judge will hear arguments as to whether a petition for a new trial can go forward. We are asking those available to attend this important hearing.
