The Colerain Center for Education, Preservation and the Arts is excited to announce our first visual arts event, “Stories I See,” featuring a phone photo exhibit by emerging local artist and writer Vicka Kharitonova. Admission is free, but registration is requested for planning purposes.

Vicka’s unique eye for subject, composition, and color is evident in the 30 photos displayed on the walls of the Colerain Forges Mansion’s Great Room and hallway. Visitors can purchase prints on site. Accompanying the photos are readings from her upcoming book with the working title "Beyond the Birch Trees: Small Tales of Growing Up Soviet" and a discussion of how her experience informs her vision.

Providing musical background is the Fair Winds lII classical trio and Miss Melanie with a set of some of Vicka's favorite American songs that inspire her stories and how she sees through the camera lens.

Pine Grove Hall will be selling wine, beer, and cider by the glass.
