State College, PA, June 20, 2025 - The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) in collaboration with the State College Spikes and the America250PA initiative will be commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States army at 6:35p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, 701 Porter Road, State College, PA 16802.

The ceremony will include a performance of ‘America the Beautiful’ with a presentation by a Color Guard. Veterans can purchase their ticket for half-off, with the promo code: 250. There is typically a $1.50 service fee for tickets purchased via the Spikes website. Veterans who call in for tickets for 6/20 will not have to pay it. They can reach this number at (814) 272-1711. This ceremony will occur during a game between the State College Spikes and Trenton Thunder.
