Special Education Paraprofessional Job Fair

Special Education Paraprofessional Job Fair
The State College Area School District is looking to immediately fill numerous open special education paraprofessional positions. If you love working with students, we’re looking for you!
All members of the community are invited to attend our open job fair on Nov. 5. We are seeking over 20 new paraprofessionals to join our team. At the event, you will be introduced to administrators and other members of the special education team, and have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the available job opportunities at the elementary and secondary levels. The first 20 people to attend will receive free swag bags and refreshment will be provided for everyone.
You may ask, what does a special education para do? The district has over 100 paras who assist our students with special needs in the classroom in numerous ways. They may work one-on-one with a student or in small groups helping with things like communication, academics, or social and behavioral needs. Paras are a foundational part of student learning but you don’t need special skills to join us, all training will be provided by the district.
