Richard Sleigh and Jerry Zolten, aka The Jive Bombers, have been performing together on the regional scene for literally decades. Their combined vocal harmonies and guitars are highlighted by Sleigh’s truly sensational “hot rod” harmonica leads. The songs are a roots music mix ranging from folk ballads and Celtic reels to swing, blues, and rockabilly. Together and individually, they have shared stages with artists such as Bo Diddley, Janis Joplin, Taj Mahal, Lenny Kaye, Robert Crumb, and Dom Flemons. Their Arts Fest performance will feature sit-in guests including percussionist John Raiser and vocalist Rene Campbell Oakman.
