QUILTING OPEN HOUSE
On Thursday, August 14 there will be a Quilting Open House at the State College YMCA from 10am-1pm in the Community room.  The event is co-sponsored by CPQG and the YMCA.Enjoy quilt displays, live demonstrations and some hands-on fun.  Try easy and exciting techniques such as Exploding Pineapple, Charms on Point and Jelly Roll Races.  Quilt Guild members will share their inspiring quilting journeys.  Have fun playing with fabric and let your creativity unfold.  Learn more about upcoming classes and Centre Pieces Quilt Guild opportunities.  Coffee and snacks will provided.  No experience needed, just bring your curiosity.  You can quilt and we will help you get started.  For further information about the CPQG their website is centrepiecesguild.org.  For more information about this event contact Cindy Lupton at clupton@ymcaocc.org.
