On Sunday, June 11th there will be a community "alleycat" bike race to celebrate Pride in State College! Alleycats are bike race scavenger hunts—rather than following a race course, participants are given a list of location checkpoints, and the goal is to find the greatest number of checkpoints within the shortest amount of time, taking any route desired! The race will start in Sidney Friedman Park at 3PM and end at Voodoo Brewery with eleven checkpoints in between. All ages and speeds are welcome! Helmets are required, and riders ride at their own risk. Participants will win prizes from local businesses and all proceeds from the $10 race entry will benefit the Centre LGBT+ nonprofit.
