Poetry Salon with Ryan Teitman on April 23
On Thursday afternoon, April 23, accomplished poet and Penn State alum Ryan Teitman will read from his new book Paperweight, winner of the 2025 Akron Poetry Prize and just released by University of Akron Press. A conversation with the poet will follow.
Ryan Teitman is the author of Litany for the City (BOA Editions, 2012) and his poems have appeared in Poetry, The Southern Review, and The Yale Review. His awards include a Wallace Stegner Fellowship, a MacDowell Fellowship, and a National Endowment of the Arts Fellowship. He lives in Glenside, Pennsylvania, with his wife and daughter.
The event will take place at 4:00 in the Grucci Room, 102 Burrowes Building, and it is free and open to the public.
