Plant Powered PSU
Plant Powered PSU
The Student Farm is happy to announce that we will be hosting the fifth annual Plant Powered PSU on Thursday, October 26 from 5-8 pm, at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in downtown State College. This is an open house-style event, so stop in at any time throughout the evening!
Plant Powered PSU is an event intended to give the campus and community insight into plant-based food and meals. There will be food samples, activities and educational stations to teach participants about plant-based food options and the environmental and health impacts that eating habits have. Some highlights include:
- Prize drawings for gift cards and plant-based meal kits
- Several food samples with fall flavors
- A customizable recipe booklet to take home
- Sample faux meats–have you ever wondered how real a fake meatball actually tastes? You can try it here!
The event is intended for anyone who has ever been curious about what some of the many meat alternatives actually taste like or about how to prepare simple plant-based meals that are quick, delicious and affordable.
We look forward to seeing you, any time on Thursday evening, to learn about plant-based food options and the health and environmental impacts of eating habits!
