The Centre County Historical Society invites the public to attend its Annual Plant Celebration sale on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Centre Furnace Mansion, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The Plant Celebration features native and non-native plants prepared by the Centre Furnace Mansion Gardeners, and local and regional growers. Herbs, annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs will be available for sale.

Books & garden related items will be for sale in the Mansion’s Hearth Room.
Open House: Centre Furnace Mansion, gardens and grounds open for visitors to explore.

Bring your garden questions, plant samples or identification questions for Penn State Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Centre County! Master Gardeners will be on hand throughout the Plant Celebration.

Held rain or shine.
Parking is available in the lawn along E. College Ave.
