Other Arts Ensemble plays Femenine by Julius Eastman
Penn State's 11-piece experimental music ensemble Other Arts will perform one of the un-sung gems of American minimalism. Julius Eastman was a visionary composer whose loose and playful take on the slowly-unfolding patterns of minimalism were virtually unknown for years. Femenine is one of his most immersive and beautiful pieces, a true experience of sound that is not to be missed! Especially in the beautiful atmosphere and acoustics of PSU's Recital Hall.
