Old, Borrowed, New--double bassist Aaron White recital
Double bassist Aaron White performs with the Pittsburgh Symphony. He will present a recital as part of the UUFCC Music Series in collaboration with the Penn State School of Music. Mr. White is on the music faculty at Duquesne University, where he teaches double bass and is the music area coordinator. He earned music degrees from Southern Methodist University and Duquesne University. Before joining the Pittsburgh Symphony, he was a member of the Louisville and Florida Orchestras. His program here will include solo works by J. S.Bach and Vergilio Mortari. He will be joined by State College pianist Ann Deighton for works by Bottesini, Hindemith, and Kodaly.
