The Nittany Valley Writers Network will meet on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m., in the Schlow Library Community Room, 211 S. Allen St., State College. Award-winning poet, Steve Deutsch, will speak about poetry and do a brief reading of his work. He is the poetry editor of Centered Magazine and served as the first poet in residence at the Bellefonte Art Museum. Steve was nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net, and has published six volumes of poetry. Brooklyn was awarded the Sinclair Poetry Prize from Evening Street Press. His most recent book is Seven Mountains.
