The public is invited to join the Centre County Historical Society on Sunday, October 26, 4:00 p.m. for a special reception and temporary exhibition in celebration of the 150th wedding anniversary of Elizabeth MacFarlane Thompson Hamilton and John Hamilton. A curated selection of their letters, photos and other documents will be on exhibit during the reception.

4:30 p.m.: As a special feature, at 4:30 p.m., Penn State Professor of Musicology Mark Ferraguto will play selections on the grand square piano in the Mansion’s parlor out of Elizabeth Hamilton's sheet music book.

5:15 p.m.: Bill Blair will provide a brief talk in the Mansion's Hearth Room about John Hamilton and Elizabeth (Libbie) Hamilton's life through his research of the CCHS Hamilton Collection.
