Penn State Professor John Marsh will discuss the life and works of John Steinbeck at the inaugural session of Lest We Forget, a series of talks about twentieth-century American novelists offered at the Bellefonte branch of the Centre County Library. This free event will be informal, with plenty of time available for discussion and enjoying light refreshments. The library is preparing a display of Steinbeck’s books and will have extra copies available for interested readers to borrow. This event is sponsored by the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association and is the vanguard of a new initiative to promote literary awareness in town.
