Learn To use Your Own Telescope

Join us at the Mountain Lion Observatory for a Learn to Use Your Own Telescope event on Friday, June 27, from 8:30pm to 10:00pm. Parking will open at 8:00pm. Bring your own telescope and have experts from the Starlight Astronomy Club help you learn how to use it! If you don't have a telescope, no problem - enjoy the telescopes provided! The Mountain Lion Observatory will be open for visitors to peer into the night sky. Whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, this program offers a unique opportunity to explore the night sky included Mercury, Mars, and the Milky Way with expert assistance. Make your Observatory night a success by bringing your own blankets, camp chairs, jackets, and bug spray. This event is free. $5 parking donation suggested.
