The League of Women Voters of Centre County will host the 2025 Municipal Primary Candidates’ Night on Tuesday, April 29 at 7pm in the State College Borough Council Chambers (243 S Allen St). Candidates in contested races for SCASD School Board, BASD School Board, Benner Township Supervisors and Spring Township Supervisors have been invited.
The non-partisan format for the evening will include an introduction to the event by LWVCC. No questions are released to candidates prior to the event.
Questions can be submitted to lwvcentrecounty@gmail.com until April 22nd or can be submitted at the event.
The event will be livestreamed, then stored on CNet, and posted on LWVCC website after the event. Past Candidates’ Nights videos are also on the website.
LWVCC registers voters, provides non-partisan candidate information in the Voters’ Guides and Candidate Night Forum, and many other activities supporting election issues in a non-partisan manner. Residents of all political parties are invited to join LWVCC to work for all eligible citizens to be educated, empowered and encouraged to vote.
