Join the Elk Township Historical Society on Thursday, September 8, at 7:30 p.m. for a presentation on the lost village of Kinzua. Our guest speaker is Marcia Tuttle Kleinert, author of two books regarding the village of Kinzua.

Marcia spent many hours in Kinzua. Her father, James Tuttle, was born and raised there. The Tuttle family settled in Kinzua in 1801 and stayed until 1962, when Kinzua dam construction began.

Marcia will bring copies of “Kinzua Life”, published in 2018, and “Kinzua Storytellers”, newly published, with her.
Note the Elk Township Historical Society’s annual meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. and the public is welcome.
