Join the next Juniper Reads event featuring "The Boys in the Boat" by Daniel James Brown at Juniper Village at Brookline. This engaging literary discussion will take place on Friday, January 10th from 4:30-6:30 pm in the Willows Dining Room, with special guest Judy Bedford, a Juniper resident and former English teacher, and in partnership with the Pennsylvania Center for the Book.

Discover this inspiring story of determination, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence, as nine remarkable Americans from the University of Washington rowing team competed for gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics during the height of the Great Depression.

Community members are invited to borrow a copy of the book, including large print editions, before the event. Return your book when you come and enjoy an afternoon of thoughtful discussion, refreshments, and community connection.
