Isidore String Quartet

Isidore String Quartet
Isidore String Quartet, formed at the start of the Covid pandemic, is influenced by the Juilliard String Quartet and its idea of “approaching the established as if it were brand new, and the new as if it were firmly established.” The artists approach music as a “playground” and attempt to break down barriers to encourage collaboration and creativity.
Isidore String Quartet is Adrian Steele and Phoenix Avalon, violins; Devin Moore, viola; and Joshua McClendon, cello. The program will include Joseph Haydn, Op. 76 No. 4, “Sunrise”; Gabriella Smith, Carrot Revolution (written for Aizuri Quartet); and Antonín Dvořák, Quartet No. 13 in G Major, Op. 106.
