"This work is a retrospective look at my time at SoVA. My paintings come from the same place of curiosity and existential unease that drives my dual study of astrophysics- in them I try to capture the allure, the discontent, and the fear that happens when we ponder the unknown. The title "Intronaut" refers to the exploration of ourselves and our inner worlds in relation to the cosmos. I am intrigued by both the insignificance the infinite scale of the universe imposes upon us, and our sacred privilege of being a part of it."
