Two years have passed since the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attacks against southern Israel and the total war Israel subsequently launched in Gaza. Join us for a scholarly, interdisciplinary discussion on the situation in Gaza, Israel, and the Middle East. Our panelists include historians, sociologists, and political scientists who will address, among other issues, the current genocide in Gaza and its connection to ongoing land expropriations and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank, Israeli domestic political and social developments, the impact on other regional actors (Lebanon, Egypt, Yemen, Qatar, Iran), and the response of the international community.
