Elktoberfest is a unique, small fall festival in the heart of Elk Country held at our beautiful century-old Benezette School. Our famous home made chicken noodle soup (featuring home made noodles), chili, smoked pork sandwiches and baked goods will be available, so come hungry. Talented crafters, photographers and bakers will have their work on sale. No live music at this event, but we do sometimes hear an elk bugle from the surrounding hills. Proceeds from this event support the Benezette School Committee's efforts to maintain and conserve the Benezette School as a community resource. (Bring cash - the rural nature of this event makes electronic sales impossible for some vendors.)
