Drawing Our Hometown Workshop
Drawing Our Hometown Workshop
Drawing Our Hometown, taught by Jim Bright, will focus on local architecture, including composition tips along with a discussion of perspective.
Jim Bright is a Mifflin County artist and one of the two featured artists in our July exhibit, Dream & Myth.
Participants are urged to bring 5-10 shots on their phone or digital camera of local streets, alleys, historical buildings, or other architecture.
We will work from those images in the comfort of the Huntingdon County Arts Center, using their favorite drawing or painting tools and materials.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, July 15, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in the Huntingdon County Arts Center.
The cost is $35 for nonmembers and $30 for Arts Council members.
Classes are held at the Huntingdon County Arts Center (formerly the 12th Street Methodist Church) at 313 12th Street, Huntingdon.
