Crochet the Basics: Granny Square (The Rivet)

Crochet the Basics: Granny Square (The Rivet)
Granny Square
Purchased a pattern for a trendy crocheted sweater? Check. Figured out how to read said pattern and actually crochet it? Uh, not so much...
Fear not! In this single session 2-hour class, students will learn the basics of crocheting, and use those basics to master the "Granny Square." The Granny Square is a basic crocheting technique where you create small Motifs, that can then be used to create larger projects such as sweaters, blankets, scarves, you name it!
Some background knowledge of crocheting would be beneficial prior to the start of the class.
