Christmas at the Curtin: Evening reception

Christmas at the Curtin: Evening reception

Join us as we close the year of celebrating 50 years of mansion tours with a 1970s-themed evening reception and fundraiser.
We'll have a special reading of "Bertie's Christmas Eve," a humorous short story by the British author Hector Hugh Munro who wrote under the pseudonym of Saki. The story was first collected in the 1919 anthology The Toys of Peace; light snacks & holiday desserts, wine (one glass free, $5 additional glasses), mulled cider, music, singalong and celebrating with friends.

Walk around the decorated mansion using battery operated lanterns.

Tickets are $30 per person. Limited tickets are available due to the size of the parlors. Tickets can be purchased online at curtinvillage.com. Visit "donate/tickets" page. Please write in Christmas at the Curtin in the reference ID section.
You can also pay by Venmo or Paypal.

If you want to pay cash at the door, be sure to RSVP first.

It's an entire weekend of Christmas At The Curtin -- with holiday photos in the parlor with Santa (Dec. 7, 10 - 3 p.m.) (Holiday photos, Dec. 8, Noon to 4 p.m.) and an evening reception, Dec. 8, (5 p.m. - 7 p.m.)

Note: Lanterns, strings lights and battery operated lighting will be used.
