Solar United Neighbors (SUN) with its local partners is hosting a Solar Tour in Centre County on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 11:00am – 1:00pm. This event is free and open to all community members in Centre County. Visitors have the chance to stop by one or several of the solar powered homes, each coupled with an electric or hybrid vehicle and other unique technologies. The Solar Tour include 8 homes in the following neighborhoods: State College, Bellefonte, Port Matilda, and Centre Hall. Visitors are welcome to come anytime between 11am – 1pm! More details will be shared upon registering for the event.

Local partners include: Centre Region Council of Governments, Bellefonte Borough, Centre County Government, Ferguson Township, State College Borough, Penn State Sustainability Institute, Citizens Climate Lobby, and Sierra Club Moshannon Group.
