Join Stream Guards, a renewed program for quarterly stream sampling and monitoring at selected locations throughout Blair County.
No experience necessary! Training and equipment/supplies are provided by the Blair County Conservation District. Volunteers required to attend BOTH training days & obtain a PA State Fishing License. The Training on May 31st volunteers will learn the importance of water quality, the program, & “how to’s” of water sampling. Volunteers will be selecting “Stream Teams” & be assigned sampling locations. Refreshments & breakfast items/snacks will be provided.
