Bog Trail trailhead is accessed from the parking area at Boat Launch #3 within Black Moshannon State Park.
Join Michelle McCloskey (PA DCNR) and Centred Outdoors guides on the Bog Trail! This is a ½ mile hike on a boardwalk to see the plants and animals that call the bog home. This trail is ADA accessible and stroller-friendly.
Visitors can also explore various trails at Black Moshannon State Park, including the Star Mill Trail, which winds through diverse ecosystems, and the more challenging Ski Slope Trail, offering views from an old ski slope. For a shorter, family-friendly option, try the 0.7-mile Lake Loop, with lakeshore and wooded views. Look for beaver signs and enjoy the playground at the Beach to wrap up your adventure!
