The whole community is invited to join us at The State Theatre as we screen two anthropological films!

The first film, the Night Doctrine, tells the story of an Afghan journalist who embarks on a journey to find out who murdered her family 30 years ago, only to uncover hundreds of civilians killed in a secretive American-backed program. The second film is a short clip of A Century After Nanook, which tells the story of life and adaptation in the new arctic. The film producers, Muhammad Rehman Shirzad and Dr. Kirk French, will be in attendance and will participate in a moderated Q&A.
