Altrusa International of Centre County is hosting a food drive to benefit those suffering from food insecurity. It also includes supporting their pets. The Weis Market in Bellefonte and the Weis Market on Rolling Ridge Drive in State College are participating. There are 13,600 people in Centre County who can't rely on regular healthy meals. Many households that experience food insecurity do not qualify for federal programs and look to food banks for extra support. Stop by one of those markets and join us on Saturday September 3rd in helping to end food insecurity in Centre County.
