The 41st annual Alternative Christmas Fair will be held December 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at University Baptist & Brethren Church, 411 S. Burrowes St., State College. Thirty local, national and international charities will be represented. On a single form, shoppers select which charities to support and how much to give to each. Cards are provided to let loved ones and friends know that a gift to charity has been given in their name. Lunch options are available. Can’t make the fair on Dec. 3? An online giving option will be “live” at ubbcwelcome.org/acf from Dec 3-17. Since 1982 this beloved community event has raised more than $900,000 for charity.
