Forty-fourth year for the Big Valley Bluegrass Gospel Gathering. Now hosted by the air-conditioned and comfortable rain-free sanctuary of the Locust Grove Mennonite Church just west of Belleville on Route 655. Two bluegrass bands will play three sets at 6:00 PM. J Yyme is an entertaining and humorous family group from Lancaster County, PA. They are popular at many venues with the traditional bluegrass acoustic instruments. The second set will feature the Unusual Suspects String Band with musicians from Mifflin and Centre Counties. They have a repertoire of modern gospel hits that feature strong vocals and solid rhythms.
The Ice Cream Social will feature Hostettler's Ice Cream complemented by a smorgasbord of homemade desserts brought by the attendees.
