25th Anniversary Ron and Mary Maxwell Community Spelling Bee
Mid-State Literacy Council's signature fundraiser supports programs for adult literacy. Teams made up of three spellers are sponsored by local businesses and philanthropists. About twenty teams compete. Katie O'Toole is the word master and three judges rule for accuracy. It's an exciting event, fun to participate in, and suspenseful to watch.
