Remembering Every North Carolina Green Book Listing

The Negro Motorist Green Book was a lifeline for African Americans travelling during racial segregation. It listed hotels, restaurants, barbershops and gas stations which welcomed black customers. A new project is documenting all North Carolina sites listed in the Green Book. WUNC’s Naomi Prioleau (@naomiprioleau)reports.
