A student vaccination clinic will open at the end of the month in Penn State’s HUB-Robeson Center. It follows the closure of the regional vaccine site in the Bryce Jordan Center on Monday.
The clinic will open on June 28 and 29 to distribute the first dose of the Moderna vaccine. Then, it will reopen on July 26 and 27 for the second dose.
The clinic will be open on each day from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Vaccinations will be open to all Penn State students at any campus except World Campus. Appointments are required and can be made through the University Health Services’ online portal, myUHS.
The regional vaccination clinic at the Bryce Jordan Center had been open for nearly two months. No plans to open more clinics on campus for the community have been announced.
Penn State hasn’t made vaccines mandatory for the fall semester but it is offering incentives to encourage students to be vaccinated. Students who show proof of vaccination can win cash prizes or a football signed by James Franklin.
