An archive recording of the WPSU Jazz Show. This week, it’s an edition of Jazz@The Palmer recorded in February 2020 and featuring Penn State’s Centre Dimension Jazz Combo.
The show is hosted and produced by WPSU’s Craig Johnson and is made possible in part by support from Fred and Judy Sears, and Friends of the Palmer.
The group members include; Jeff Snyder, saxophone; Antoine Petula, tenor saxophone; Connor Frederick, trombone, Alex Samsel, bass, Jack Buggnio, drums; and Nick Kelabris, guitar.
The concert features works by Charles Mingus, Herbie Hancock, Duke Ellington, Victor Young, Bronis?aw Kaper, Edgar Sampson, Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, and more.
