An archive recording for the WPSU Jazz show as aired on April 1, 2016, produced and hosted by Craig Johnson. The recording features a Jazz@ThePalmer recording as performed in October 2015.  Support for Jazz@ThePalmer comes from Fred and Judy Sears, and Tire Town Auto Service Centre in State College. 

 
The concert features two Penn State student jazz combos.  In the opening set, it’s George’s Dilemma, featuring; Thomas Vosburgh on trumpet; Mack Jensen on alto sax; J.T. Hoffman on tenor sax; Steven Lieb on piano; Sebastian Goodrich on drums; and Mike Tanksley on bass. 

In the second set, it’s Early Bird Special, featuring;  Alex Mann on tenor sax, Pat Fair on alto sax; Matt Bresloff on bass, Nate Lisbon on piano; John DiPrima on trumpet; and Trevor Roston on drums.

Craig Johnson is your local host for weekday All Things Considered. Craig makes his home in the State College area with his wife, daughter and son. He’s been involved in radio broadcasting since 1977 when he got a part-time job while still in high school at a radio station in Somerset, PA. He graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA with a BA in music. (And he can play the guitar just like ringin’ a bell)
