Eighteen Pennsylvania counties moved Friday into the green phase of Governor Tom Wolf’s reopening plan. Those counties include Centre, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Forest and McKean.
In the green phase, Wolf says personal care services such as hair salons and barber shops can reopen with appointments. Appointments are encouraged for gyms and spas.
Guidance for restaurants and bars says they can have indoor seating at 50% capacity and with 6 feet between tables. Customers who are medically able are required to wear masks while entering, exiting or traveling through restaurants. But they can remove them at the table. Penalties for restaurants and bars breaking these rules could include suspended licenses, including liquor licenses.
Gatherings of more than 250 people are prohibited.
Visitation at prisons and hospitals may resume at the discretion of the facility, but visits to nursing homes are still restricted.
Governor Wolf says telework should continue where possible. And people in green phase counties should still wear a mask around others and practice social distancing.
