Join us for another joy-full, uplifting musical offering from the Essence 2 community choir!

This concert features arrangements and select settings for five ‘hymns’ by African American composers/arrangers: traditional settings for congregational use followed by transformation based on contemporary gospel, concert settings of the spiritual, Praise and Worship styles.

Stan Spotswood, composer, conductor, music educator and pastor, will provide insight into the historical significance of the theme and share his vocal gifts as soloist/worship leader.
