MIT Researchers Say Social Distancing May Actually Help The Economy

During the coronavirus pandemic, many Americans are staying at home for their own well being and for the good of the overall public health to help “flatten the curve.”

While critics have argued that social distancing is hurting the economy and we cannot let the cure be worse than the disease itself, new research from Massachusetts Institute of Technology finds that staying at home now might actually benefit the economy.
