Judges Call For Independent Immigration Court System

With over one million unheard cases backlogging the immigration courts across the country, immigration judges are buckling under the pressure of high quota numbers and what many argue is a highly politicized court process.

Some judges are calling for an independent immigration court separate from the Department of Justice.
