From Jazz in Film to Soundtracks and Songbooks from the greatest lyricists, vocalists and musicians, "Rain in The Evening" will preview her new season with the music from some of Woody Allen's greatest films.

Listen in for a surprise opening track and the predictable yet untraditional renditions of "Over The Rainbow" that bring each show to its conclusion.

Trumpeter/Vocalist Benny Benack has gained a reputation for being incredibly versatile. He has won every major jazz trumpet competition including the Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Soloist Competition (2011), International Trumpet Guild Jazz Competition (2011), and the National Trumpet Competition - Jazz Division (2012).

Whitney Chirdon and Greg Petersen host a special edition of the WPSU Jazz Show ... a lounge music edition!  Music from Frank Sinatra, Julie London, Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee, Mondo Exocita, and much more.  Listen for a musical performance by Robert Mitchum.  It's a fun two-hour throwback to a different time!
