From Tom’s Reading List

Weekly Standard:Health Care Vote Is a Moment of Truth for the White House— “It’s the first and possibly biggest test so far of Trump’s ability to push forward his legislative agenda with a sizable Republican majority in the House and a marginal one in the Senate. And even on the day of the vote, it’s difficult to see how the bill ends up on the president’s desk in its current form—or even how it passes the House.”

Associated Press: US probes banking of ex-Trump campaign chief— “U.S. Treasury Department agents have recently obtained information about offshore financial transactions involving President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, as part of a federal anti-corruption probe into his work in Eastern Europe, The Associated Press has learned.

BBC News: London attack: Khalid Masood identified as killer— “Kent-born Masood, who was shot dead in the attack, was not the subject of any current police investigations, but had a range of previous convictions. The 52-year-old was believed to have been living in the West Midlands. The so-called Islamic State group has said it was behind the attack, in which PC Keith Palmer, Aysha Frade and US tourist Kurt Cochran were killed.”
