The Tony Award-winning musical “Fun Home” is touring the United States. It’s based on the graphic novel by cartoonist Alison Bechdel and tells her story of growing up in a small Pennsylvania town and becoming aware that she is a lesbian. Her father was also gay but remained in the closet his entire life.
Kate Shindle (@kateshindle) stars as the adult Alison, and talks with Here & Now‘s Jeremy Hobson about the role and the show.
