Take Note: Martin Guitar's Iconic Dreadnought Turned 100

Musicologist Jerry Zolten and Martin Guitar Archivist Dick Boak talk about the 100th anniversary of Martin Guitar's iconic dreadnought.

Martin is to guitars what Stradivarius is to violins.  The Pennsylvania-based Martin Guitar Company commemorates the 100th anniversary of its dreadnought with a documentary film that traces the rise of the iconic Martin dreadnought from its humble beginnings to becoming the musical companion played in almost every musical genre in every corner of the world.  WPSU's Patty Satalia talks with musicologist Jerry Zolten, an associate professor in Penn State's department of Communication Arts & Sciences, and Dick Boak, Martin Guitar's director of Museum, Archives and Special Projects.
